Russell James Pyle

Russell James Pyle was born into a Pennsylvanian family steeped in musical tradition. He was playing piano by age six, trumpet by age ten, before settling into the guitar after he found his great-grandfather’s broken ukulele in the attic, repaired it with fishing line, and plucked out a major scale.

In May, 2016, Russell released his debut solo album, “Rise”. Backed by a talented young lineup of Albuquerque musicians, Rise creates the sound of the desert where it was born. Influenced as much by Brian Eno and U2 as by Texas troubadours, Rise creates an uplifting mood amidst honest songs about struggle. Delivered in a trademark vibrato rasp and accompanied by an ethereal folk soundtrack, Russell's songs are poems and calls to action.

Dear Lincoln

Dear Lincoln

Dear Lincoln has been described as 'eclectic folk jazz,' though they would describe themselves simply as a relaxed group of friends that fancy creating tunes together.  Fashioned from a stew of interests and musical experiences, the group began in 2014 playing covers for a fundraiser, but they soon realized that they could create something special writing original music. Though Dear Lincoln's music finds and lends itself in various venues around the Midwest, you can still catch them busking on neighborhood streets or working on new songs in each other's living rooms.

Kyle Schiffli

Kyle Schiffli is an independent writer and performing artist based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. With a mellow, lyrical sound, much of Kyle’s solo work stems from the overflow of material created for his Alternative-Rock band Barky & Speaker. Where Barky & Speaker tends to be brash and outright, Kyle’s solo work is subdued and lyrically driven. An admirer of traditional songwriting, Kyle’s work reflects many of his influences such as Death Cab For Cutie, The Killers, and all the songwriting greats from the last 60 years.

Bon Temps

Let the music of Bon Temps with Gallegos & Thompson transport you to the time when Music, Art, and Poetry collided in the streets of Paris at the turn of the 20thcentury.

Heralded as the era known for exuding emotion, luminosity and textured soundscapes, Gallegos and Thompson harmonize melodies of composers such as Debussy, Ravel, Satie, and Faure, who dared to break from tradition and try “something different”. Inspired by tonalities and colors from the Far East and flavored with hints of Jazz which found their way from New Orleans to France, the genesis of creating music through impressions and symbols was born. Combining the beauty of the flute and the complexity of the piano, Gallegos and Thompson take the most adored songs of the French and paint a tapestry of music that warms the soul and transcends the listener to another time and place.

Bon Temps with Gallegos & Thompson:

Flute: Jennifer Gallegos

Piano: Joshua Thompson

Afrodisiac and Troubled Epoch

Afrodisiac  is a special blend of funk, soul, and rock&roll designed to excite and arouse you.

Troubled Epoch: After the death of his grandmother in March 2016, Alstott began drafting a new album concept with the goal of discovering a meaningful creative process to help cope with the grief of losing a loved one. Around the same time, Alstott met Ross Wallgren while taking a physics course at IUPUI and the two quickly united over their passion for musical composition and alternative music. With Alstott's post-punk synthesizers and Wallgren's angst-driven and vulnerable vocals, the duo together created a sound to represent this troubled epoch of mourning- an electronic, gothic noise rock which beckoned comparisons to the likes of Bright Eyes and Joy Division. Troubled Epoch will be releasing its first studio album in the summer of 2017.
